Sometimes, itās a happy accident, a hobby turned into a surprising demand.
Other times, itās a deliberate pursuit to solve a problem, with varying levels of certainty on how to turn it into a business.
Then there are those of us who are eager to dive into entrepreneurship but find ourselves unsure of the perfect idea (need guidance).
Today, starting a business is more doable than ever, offering fresh opportunities that werenāt around a decade ago. The real question isnāt just about finding the ābestā business but discovering what truly resonates with you.
After all, the best business is the one that feels uniquely yours.
Letās break down how to never run out of ideas.

1. Upgrade yourĀ life
Solve your own problemāāāthey said. If youāre an expert, good for you. But for folks like me, who arenāt specialists, the main issue (#1 problem) is coming up with startup ideas.
So, hereās a simple tip:
Take something you do every day and make it better.
Build a better habit tracker
Design a better email drip tool
Streamline your coding process with automation
Keep it personal and practical!
Customers wonāt pay for your creativity. Instead, try improving something you already use a lot. Why?
Because folks are already paying for things that solve their problems. Plus, more people will buy what youāre offering if you understand your market and talk like them.
It increases the odds of making money: People are already paying for solutions
It boosts your conversion rate: You care about the market, and you speak their language
It generates issues, which means a lot of ideasāāāa.k.a. startup ideas (see next part)
The trick is:
If you habitually question, what could be better in your daily routine, youāll start getting loads of ideas. Itās like a daily exercise for coming up with cool stuff.
2. Build more andĀ more

Ideas emerge from building them.
If youāre using the same code over and over, thatās a startup
Are you having a hard time with email delivery settings? Thatās like taking a course
Putting your project out in the same places? Thatās making an info product.
Start something boring. Launch it. Find what you can automate, fix, or teach. Youāll never run out of ideas.
If youāre facing a problem, chances are others are too. Come up with a solution and see if itās valuable.
Being part of startup communities (like indie-hacker, circle, etc.) helps determine if others find it useful.
The cool part?
Even if it doesnāt turn into a business, youāve still made something handy for yourself.
3. Find universal needs
There are problems everywhere:
š Users want more followers (always trendy)
Businesses aim to increase their profits.
Everyone desires to be in good shape and stay healthy.

Start with a market you care about and think about how to fulfill their basic needs.
Depending on what you specialize in, helping people save time can be just as good, or even better than, helping them make money.
Ask yourself, āIs this the best way for anyone to spend their time?ā
For instance, in the Amazon community, a seller āmakes moneyā by finding products to sell, striking deals with wholesalers, or using tools like Helium 10 to research private-label products.
There are also plenty of other necessary but time-consuming and less skilled tasks that need attention. You might have a valuable opportunity if you offer a service that can handle these time-consuming tasks.
Consider this: Can you outsource the less skilled work and still make enough profit to make the venture worthwhile?
Ultimately, just having business ideas isnāt the whole picture. Being a real entrepreneur boils down to spotting and fixing problems that matter.
